Providence College Risk and Prevention Lab (RAP Lab)

The RAP lab at Providence College is directed by Dr. Nick Tarantino. The RAP Lab’s research focuses on preventing risk and improving health outcomes among adolescents and young adults in the United States and sub-Saharan Africa. Specifically, the RAP lab is interested in exploring intervention strategies which are culturally responsive, use mobile tech, and target social contexts including family, peer, and provider relationships. All current lab projects are HIV-focused.
